Going international

Increasing the international visibility of competencies and capabilities available in Luxembourg as well as fostering international collaboration are key objectives of the Luxembourg EcoInnovation Cluster. Therefore in order to promote the know-how of its members and to stay updated on the green technology strategies of Europe’s main actors, the Cluster participates in a number of important events on behalf of its members.

Trade mission to Austria (April 2013)

In the context of the Luxembourg State Visit to Austria on 15-17 April 2013, a trade visit to Vienna and Linz was organised. The Luxembourg EcoInnovation Cluster as well as the Luxembourg BioHealth Cluster participated in this trade mission in order to enhance the Cluster’s visibility at international level and to identify and develop new business opportunities.

   

   

Study visit to explore Scandinavian models of sustainable urban development (June 2011)

A delegation of 32 Luxembourg entrepreneurs, architects, engineers and representatives of public authorities recently visited the cities of Copenhagen and Malmö in order to get first hand information about Scandinavian approaches in sustainable urban development. During the visit the participants of the Luxembourg delegation had the opportunity to meet and exchange ideas with many Scandinavian urban planners and architects. The study trip was organised by CIMALUX in close collaboration with the Luxembourg EcoInnovation Cluster and benefited from the support of the Danish Ambassador in Luxembourg, HE.
